The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre, Jalan Strachan, Sentul, 51100 Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Malaysia's biggest platform for short plays, the Short + Sweet Festival, returns to Kuala Lumpur in late March.
Set to run from 29th March to 28th April at the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (Klpac), the event is designed to show off innovative works from young local talents, with all of the pieces to be presented in Malaysian languages.
The festival is organising a series of workshops to educate on the art of these short plays, known as 'ten minuters', with the sessions presented by experienced facilitators from Malaysia and overseas.
Open to the public, the workshops aim to encourage collaboration between participants, create artistic networks and generate opportunities for anyone serious about embarking on a career in the performing arts.
Anyone with a desire to tread the boards who is looking for a place to stay close to the Klpac should consider booking a room at the Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur, which is only 14 minutes' drive away.
The Good Vibes Festival will return to Malaysia in August.
