The Theater am Aegi in Hannover is set to stage a revival of Esther Vilar's classic play The Trained Man from 11th to 13th October.
While the production was originally staged in the 1970s, acclaimed playwright John von Duffel has reworked it for a contemporary audience.
It dramatises the story of a man who tries to simply live a normal life with his life partner and mother.
However, he is caught between the world of dentistry and the domestic obligations of household existence.
When his wife gets offered a job as the chief executive of a prestigious firm, he has to cope with the fact that he is no longer the main breadwinner.
Visitors to the city could book rooms at the Copthorne Hotel Hannover.
As it is only a 20-minute car or taxi ride away from the venue, they will find it is not a problem to get there and back.
