If you would put classic British rock near the top of a list of things you love most in life, arrange a Germany hotel break this autumn to experience a musical blast from the past in Hannover.
As part of a tour of Europe getting underway in Russia in October, Deep Purple will play a show at Hannover's AWD Hall on 17th November.
Formed in England in the late 1960s, the band came to be recognised as one of the pioneers of heavy metal and modern hard rock, along with the likes of Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath.
They have sold more than 100 million albums around the world and were ranked 22nd on music channel VH1's rundown of the greatest hard-rock artists.
Deep Purple are arguably best known for the song Smoke on the Water, although singles such as 1970's Black Night and Strange Kind of Woman from the following year reached higher positions in the UK charts.
Book a hotel in Germany to see the legendary group during a tour that will feature concerts in several cities across the country, including Bremen (16th November), Frankfurt (22nd November), Hamburg (24th November), Berlin (27th November) and Stuttgart (1st December).
