If you are looking for some live entertainment during a stay at the Copthorne Hotel Hannover this autumn, consider paying a visit to AWD Hall to check out a performance by Celtic folk rock group Runrig.
The band will play a series of dates in Denmark, Scotland and Germany between May and December 2012, with the Hannover show scheduled for 28th November.
Runrig have been recording music and touring for nearly 40 years, having formed on the island of Skye in 1973.
Over the decades, they have released 13 studio albums, the most recent of which, Everything You See, came out in May 2007.
As well as playing Hannover this year, the band will be performing in cities such as Hamburg (28th August), Cologne (30th August), Stuttgart (31st August) and Berlin (29th November), providing plenty of opportunities to catch up with the tour during a Germany hotel break.
AWD Hall in Hannover will provide the venue for several live events this year, including the Australian Pink Floyd Show on 22nd April and a concert by female vocal group Celtic Woman on 12th May.
The city also boasts permanent attractions such as the Tiergarten and the Landesmuseum.
