Part of the ongoing arts share between Qatar and the UK, the Katara Cultural Village is presenting an exciting new production of Shakespeare's tragic classic Romeo & Juliet.

It will be performed at the Katara's Drama Theater on 19th and 20th February, so could prove to be a great night out for anyone staying in Doha hotels at the time.

This is a Globe Education production and is a highly creative, fast-moving interpretation of the Shakespeare text, which still manages to retain the creativity and nuisances of the bard's words.

It is a perfect introduction for those unfamiliar with Shakespeare, as well as memorable experience for those who know the story of the Montagues and Capulets.

Getting to the Opera House is easy for anyone staying at the Millennium Hotel Doha, as a people can drive there in 15 minutes, so a taxi will not be too expensive.
