About Xiamen China

Recently named as China’s second most livable city, Xiamen also caters to tourists with its beautiful islands, mountains, temples and parks. A seaport since ancient times Xiamen features a wide gulf with deep water that doesn’t freeze over or have silt. Xiamen is also known as Egret Island due to the large population of Egrets that inhabit Xiamen. The Egrets make Xiamen their home because of the fresh air and clean environment of the city. Despite being highly urbanized Xiamen is an extremely picturesque city.
