Cincinnati, OH

Also known as the ‘Queen City’ and more popularly as ‘Cincy’, Cincinnati is located in south-western Ohio, USA. Cincinnati was America’s first major inland city and is also considered to be the first major American ‘boomtown’ after its economic growth in the early 19th century. Cincinnati is also famous for having the largest collection of nineteenth-century Italianate architecture in the USA.  In fact, the Over-the-Rhine area is the largest National Historic District in the United States.

Cincinnati offers many popular attractions such as the Carew Tower - the tallest building in Cincinnati and the Fountain Square one of the most popular Cincinnati attractions. Other hotspots in Cincinnati include the Scripps Center, the Ingalls Building, Cincinnati Museum Center, the Isaac M. Wise Temple and the Greater Cincinnati Police Historical Society Museum.

The city of Cincinnati also features numerous festivals and events throughout the year. This includes the ever-popular Cincinnati Flower Show held every April which is considered to be the biggest outdoor Flower Show in the USA. Other popular Cincinnati events include, the Jazz festival, and the second largest Oktoberfest in the world. Cincinnati also features the Findlay Market; Ohio’s oldest continuously-operated public market and one of Cincinnati’s most famous hotspots.

Cincinnati is home to America's first professional baseball team, the Cincinnati Reds while the city is also quite popular for tennis, football, and hockey.
