A Grammy-nominated singer is stopping off on his international tour to play in Hannover.

Jason Mraz is scheduled to perform at the city's Capitol venue to the delight of his fans staying at the Copthorne Hotel Hannover.

The singer is booked to appear on March 12th before he continues on the European leg of his tour.

Mraz released his first album Waiting for My Rocket to Come in 2002 which went platinum.

Shortly after, he supported a number of artists on tours, such as Alanis Morissette, before writing his second album Mr A-Z.

The artist took a break from the music scene in order to create new material for his latest collection entitled We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things.

Songs featuring on the album include I'm Yours which successfully entered into the UK Singles Chart and is one of the singer's most well-known tunes.

Mraz said: "I didn't realise how powerful it was until we went to Sweden last summer and 6,000 people sang every word."
