|The Enchanted Forest launches in Wellington
Guests of the Kingsgate Hotel Wellington can still attend the event, which runs until April 14th.
Entitled the Enchanted Forest, the event promises to draw visitors into its captivating educational journey that reveals how hits like Hansel and Gretel and Cinderella are staged.
Thanks to a partnership between NBR New Zealand Opera and Royal New Zealand Ballet, the evening sees performers and directors guide visitors around a surreal exhibition.
Displayed at the event are costumes from well-known characters such as Cinderella and Hansel and Gretel.
In addition, the sets from various productions are exhibited and they complement the surreal nature of the event as they feature real trees and artificial rock formations.
Both adults and children are welcome at the venue and those keen to take home mementos of the evening are given souvenirs from the set.
