|Summer Surprises in store for Copthorne Hotel Dubai
Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) encourages visitors to shop and save, and there are a number of special events planned in its impressive malls throughout. The major sales that are to be had tend to attract well over seven million shoppers to Dubai during DSS.
Many Dubai hotels and resorts also offer major discounts as part of the festival for people hoping to make a holiday out of the shopping festival. This year, celebrations will culminate in a live concert by Enrique Iglesias.
Under the patronage of HH Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed,, chairman of the Dubai culture and arts aurhotiy, Dubai will also play host to two major entertainment exhibitions as part of the Summer Suprises.
The Dubai International Character and Licensing Fair 2008 and Dubai International E-Games Fair 2008, the first events of their kind in the Middle East, will take place between October 28th and 30th, 2008.
With 280 companies exhibiting their latest products, the fairs are expected to attract over 25,000 visitors.
