The Middle East International Film Festival (MEIFF) will be held in Abu Dhabi from October 10th to 19th.

It is a celebration of cinema dedicated to bringing a diverse slate of international films to the community and to introducing filmmakers from around the world to the resources of the region.

MEIFF is committed to nurturing relationships and providing opportunities to those looking to invest in the future of film.

With an extended ten-day festival this year, MEIFF will showcase films from all over the world.

Total prize money in the prestigious Black Pearl Awards ceremony now exceeds more than $1 million in cash.

New additions to the competition categories include student films with prizes for 'Best Fiction Film', 'Best Documentary and 'Best Animation Film' each with cash prizes of $25,000.

While most venues are yet to be confirmed, the main location is set to be the world-famous Emirates Palace Hotel.
