|Emirates' food service wins award
The Abu Dhabi-based carrier picked up the gong after readers of the magazine from around the world voted in favour of its menu of varied options.
Bob Ferguson, senior vice-president of aircraft catering at the airline, said he was "honoured" to receive the title.
"Pax International Magazine Readership Awards have long been the benchmark for excellence within the travel catering industry and we are pleased that the industry and [more] importantly, our customers, have recognised our efforts to provide the best possible in-flight catering.
"In-flight catering is a fundamental part of the Emirates travel experience and this award is testament to our continued commitment in producing high quality cuisine across our extensive network."
The carrier flies to more than 100 destinations in 62 countries.
