|Charity auction of art in Dubai
The auction comes after a leading non-government organisation from India, Kinship for Humanitarian, Social and Holistic Intervention in India (Khushii), partnered with the emirate's Al Noor Centre for Special Needs Children.
WAM news agency reports that Art with a Smile will see artists from the United Arab Emirates and India work together to produce a piece that will then be auctioned, in addition to 60 other pieces.
All proceeds will be shred between Khushii and Al Noor, and will be spent on improving health and education.
"Khushii and Al Noor have taken this step together as the first initiative towards Khushii's global vision to create the world's first NGO forum that will provide aid to areas affected by global calamities," said Kapil Dev, chairman of Khushii.
Art aficionados staying in a Dubai hotel may wish to attend the event which can help them add to their collection while helping charity.
