|Burj Dubai becomes world's tallest building
Emaar Properties says the silvery steel and glass skyscraper now has "more than 160 stories", and its exterior is almost complete, with the interior now being worked upon.
Still under construction, its final height is a secret but is expected to reach 800 metres.
Construction works on the Burj Dubai tower have been carrying on for four years.
After two postponements it is now due to be completed in September 2009, after which you may be tempted to book a Dubai hotel to see the tower rising into the clouds.
Last summer, Emaar said that the Burj Dubai tower had exceeded Taipei 101 as the world's tallest man-made structure.
The title has belonged to the 508 metre high Taiwanese skyscraper since 2004.
