|Al Fares Dubai 2008 comes to a close
This is the 6th International Equine Trade Fair to be held in the region and is being held at the Dubai International Conventions and Exhibition Centre.
The 2006 three-day event attracted more than 319 different exhibitors with products and services for both horses and riders.
Al Fares Dubai 2008 has also featured a number of pavilions to appeal to those staying in Dubai hotels with particular interests.
Special pavilions will focus on flat racing, gambling and endurance racing.
Exhibitors will range from companies offering veterinary services to equine spa and rehabilitation products.
The exhibition will be open between 10:00 and 18:00 local time.
Organisers are hoping that the event will help the industry expand to match the popularity in other countries including the US, Canada and Australia.
It is held on a bi-annual basis in Dubai and is one of the oldest equine trade fares in Africa and Asia.
