Intriguing Asian Dishes & Town Car Transportation from Hotel to Theater Are the Highlights at the Award-Winning Sai Sai
LOS ANGELES, CA - The pre-theater crowd is a pampered species at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel – not only do they get to dine at the hotel’s award-winning Sai Sai Restaurant which serves innovative modern Asian cuisine but they can also request a town car transfer to avoid the hilly hike to catch a show. Sai Sai’s pre-theater menu features a three-course meal with choice of appetizer, entrée and dessert. The pre-theater menu is priced at $40 per person, excluding tax and gratuity, and is available during regular dinner hours from 6:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. For enquiries or reservations please contact Sai Sai at 213-624-1100.
First course highlights on the pre-theater menu include a signature Sai Sai Composed Salad (organic greens, roasted baby beets, Asian pear, Belgian endive, goat cheese and roasted cashews), and Pan-Seared Nantucket Bay Scallops (the finest scallops glazed with a sesame creamed spinach reduction and aged parmesan). Guests can choose from two entrees, Nori-Crusted Ahi Tuna served with forbidden rice and a braised lotus root emulsion; or Pan-Seared Filet of Kobe Beef which comes with garlic-laced fingerling potatoes, lobster mushrooms and broccolini goma bordelaise. To top off the meal, guests have a choice of Lemongrass Crème Brulée or Green Tea Ice Cream.
Sai Sai’s extensive sushi and sashimi menu also features a variety of specialties like the popular Tuna Toro, Salmon Belly, Amiebi (mini sweet prawns) and Tako (octopus). New, exotic sushi choices include monkfish liver (ankimo), snow crab, sea urchin (uni) and salmon roe (ikura).
Make sure you check out the restaurant’s regular lunch and dinner menus that provide a selection of creative and flavorful items. Lunch choices include Sai Sai's famous signature Bento Boxes and dishes such as Seared Ahi Tuna Salad and Black Pepper and the Honey-Glazed Beef Satay. The dinner menu offers Shabu Shabu (thin slices of Kobe beef and ahi tuna, dashi broth and sticky rice with goma and ponzu dipping sauces) and an Udon Noodle Hot Pot with tempura prawns and BBQ pork, garnished with a selection of greens including snow peas, carrots, romaine lettuce, bok choy and bean sprouts.
