|Zeppelin airships to soar through London skies
A German airship operator reportedly plans to launch a six-week series of daily flights from July 10th.
The zeppelins will reach an altitude of 2,000ft and cruise over landmarks such as Buckingham Palace, St Paul's Cathedral and the Houses of Parliament.
Tours will last between 30 minutes and an hour and will carry 12 per passengers, with each ticket offering a window seat, the Times reports.
The company offering the service, German airship operator DZR GmbH, will only be able to provide tours until August 21st, as safety restrictions will prevent the zeppelins from flying in heavy winds, thunderstorms or fog.
Zeppelin NT07, the model that will be operating the tours, is reportedly much safer and more reliable than airships of the past.
