|West Side Story returns to London
Joey McKneely's vibrant new version of the show will come to the English capital after going down a storm in Tokyo, Paris and Beijing.
London hotel visitors will be able to see West Side Story at the Sadler's Wells Theatre from July 22nd to August 31st.
The show was originally scored by Leonard Bernstein, with lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and is credited as being one of the most influential works in the history of musical theatre.
It is based on Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and features plenty of numbers that will have audiences dancing in their seats, including Maria, I Feel Pretty, Tonight and Somewhere.
West Side Story's run at Sadler's Wells will be followed by a new theatrical production of Oscar Wilde's story The Picture of Dorian Gray.
