|West London to celebrate Cole Porter
Cadogan Hall will host an evening of performances on August 6th by West End stars including Maria Friedman, Mary Carewe, Graham Bickley and others.
The singers will give renditions of Porter's many famous songs for Broadway shows and movies, including I Get a Kick Out of You, Anything Goes and I've Got You Under My Skin.
Porter's songs are among the most famous in the history of showbiz, having been performed by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly and Judy Garland.
A similar event at Cadogan Hall that London hotel visitors may be interested in will be held on August 13th, when Sir Willard White will perform in concert with Eugene Asti.
The pair will offer versions of some of the best-known numbers written by another musical icon, George Gershwin.
