|Victoria & Albert Museum explores the fairy tale
All the Better to See You With My Dear: Fairy Tales and Enchantments will be open at the museum until February next year.
Fairy tales in various forms exist in all cultures and, with magic and enchantment often forming part of the subject matter, they provide powerful inspiration for art and design.
The Victoria & Albert Museum exhibition features a selection of objects from around the world, some of which date back several centuries and have never been displayed in public before.
Kensington hotel guests will be able to visit the display to learn about the origins of fairy tales and how they are often used as cautionary tools.
Also open at the museum this year is Telling Tales, a major exhibition that includes the work of a generation of world-renowned designers.
