|Turner watercolours at the Courtauld Gallery
The exhibition, which London hotel visitors will be able to see until January 25th, is the first full display of the gallery's collection of Turner's watercolours.
Every stage of the artist's career is represented in the showcase, from the landscape studies created when he was a teenager to the rich expressiveness of his celebrated later works.
In addition to the Courtauld Gallery's own pieces, the exhibition includes a number of works borrowed from the Tate institution and private collections.
Visitors therefore have the opportunity to see the development of some of Turner's compositions, from early sketches to finished works and published prints.
From February 12th next year, the Courtauld Gallery will present an exhibition featuring a number of pieces of art from Renaissance Florence.
