|The Snowman to enchant Peacock Theatre audiences
The Birmingham Repertory Theatre production of Raymond Briggs' book will be inviting London hotel visitors and others to get into the festive spirit right up until January 11th.
When a young boy's snowman comes to life on Christmas Eve, the pair set off on a night-time adventure that sees them meet dancing penguins, reindeer and Father Christmas himself.
The stage production of the story features impressive stunts as the snowman and the young boy fly through the air, as well as the famous musical piece Walking in the Air performed by a live orchestra.
According to the Times, the Snowman is "sheer theatrical magic".
The Christmas show will be followed onto the Peacock Theatre stage by Traces, a dynamic modern circus production that will open on February 3rd and run until March 14th.
