People with an interest in the work of the poet and novelist Sylvia Plath will be able to see one of her plays at the Jermyn Street Theatre over the coming month.

Three Women will run from January 5th to February 7th at the Jermyn Street Theatre, which describes itself as London's leading off-West End venue.

The play is being presented following almost two years of negotiations between the theatre company Inside Intelligence, the Plath estate and the publisher Faber and Faber.

Starring Elizabeth Dahl, Tilly Fortune and Lara Lemon in the lead roles, the production is the very first revival of Three Women, which Plath originally wrote for radio.

The play follows three female characters through their differing experiences of pregnancy and childbirth.

Its production at the Jermyn Street Theatre will see the venue continue its association with Robert Shaw, who previously directed As You Like It and Fermin Cabal's Shoot! at the theatre.
