Briggs is known for his orchestral transcriptions and his improvisation, which endows his performances with a virtuoso feel and provides the audience with plenty of excitement.
He was one of three international musicians who celebrated the opening of the Royal Albert Hall organ in 2004.
For the July 4th concert, Briggs will perform pieces include Dukas' The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Widor's Symphony no 5 and Rachmaninov's Vocalise.
To mark the American significance of the show, the organist will recite two famous Souza marches, The Liberty Bell and Stars and Stripes.
