A major solo exhibition dedicated to the sculptor and Turner Prize-winning artist Anish Kapoor will open at the Royal Academy of Arts this year.

London hotel guests will be able to see the display in the Royal Academy's main gallery from September 26th to December 11th.

Kapoor has been a Royal Academician since 1999 and is described by the institution that will be hosting his work as "one of the most influential and pioneering sculptors of his generation".

The centrepiece of his show in London will be Svayambh, a site-specific work that has been tailored to fit in with the architecture of the Royal Academy galleries.

Visitors will also be able to see Shooting into the Corner, a complex piece that will evolve and change throughout the duration of the exhibition, and a number of Kapoor's signature creations from different periods in his career.

Another major display that London hotel guests can see at the Royal Academy of Arts this year is JW Waterhouse: The Modern Pre-Raphaelite, which will be open until September 13th.
