|Royal Academy exhibits work of Peter Freeth
In a display entitled My Affair with Resin, Royal Academician Mr Freeth explores the unique processes behind his work and the themes that have interested him for many years.
Introducing the exhibition, Mr Freeth said that he was made aware of the practice of making prints using resin by his uncle.
He said that he was "bewitched" by the medium when he first tried it and has used it for the basis of nearly every print he has made since.
"This small show is the brief history of a personal obsession from my first experiments to my most recent and, I hope, reveals the special characteristics of a most unconventional way of making prints a rich vein I am still mining," Mr Freeth added.
The exhibition will be open in the Royal Academy's Tennant room until February 22nd next year.
