|Royal Academy exhibits new architecture projects
Until January 11th, the Royal Academy's architecture space will showcase two new projects by David Chipperfield Architects.
London hotel visitors will be able to see plans for the Hepworth Wakefield in west Yorkshire, due to open at the end of 2009, and the Turner Contemporary in Margate, scheduled for completion in autumn 2010.
The display features large-scale model photographs and renderings as well as a single giant print covering the exhibition wall.
People with an enthusiasm for architecture may know the name of Andrea Palladio, an Italian visionary and designer who will be the subject of an exhibition at the Royal Academy from January 31st to April 13th.
The show will consist of large-scale models, computer animations, original drawings, books and paintings representing Palladio's work.
