|Rain Man to come to London stage
London hotel visitors will be able to see the new production, starring Josh Hartnett and Adam Godley, from August 28th.
Hartnett will star as Charlie Babbitt, the character played by Cruise in the movie, while Godley will play Charlie's brother Raymond.
Commenting on his decision to take the part, Hartnett said: "It has always been my intent to work on the London stage.
"While I've had many opportunities it was only when I read the complex and charismatic character of Charlie Babbitt that I knew the time was right."
Hartnett will be making his West End debut in the play, while Godley has previously appeared in productions including Emmanuelle and Dick, Private Lives and Mouth to Mouth.
Booking for Rain Man, which will be staged at the Apollo Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue, is currently open until December 20th this year.
