Theatre fans hoping to see the show Piaf before it closes should make their London hotel bookings soon and head to the Vaudeville Theatre before the end of January.

This show transferred to its current location following a sell-out run at the Donmar Warehouse.

Pam Gems adapted her 1978 play based on the life of the singer Edith Piaf for this 30th anniversary production, which will have a limited run up to January 24th.

Piaf led a fascinating life, rising to fame from the streets of Paris and becoming a worldwide star before her tragic death in 1963.

She is associated with songs such as La Vie En Rose, Hyme A L'Amour and Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien, and was brought to the attention of a wider audience in 2007 through an Oscar-winning film about her life starring Marion Cotillard.

Taking on the challenging role in the stage production of Piaf is Elena Roger, an Argentine actress who has previously starred in the London shows Evita and Boeing, Boeing.
