|New play comes to the Vaudeville
The Deep Blue Sea stars Greta Scacchi as the wife of a judge who is struggling through the final stages of a hopeless affair with an ex-Battle of Britain pilot.
July 5th will be the date of the final showing of this production, which was described by Charles Spencer of the Telegraph as "a truly great evening in the West End".
Taking over from this play will be The Female of the Species, which is currently booking from mid-July until the beginning of October.
This play, the latest work from Joanna Murray-Smith, will feature a cast including Eileen Atkins, Paul Chahidi, Anna Maxwell-Martin, Sophie Thompson and Sam Kelly.
It centres around the character of Margot Mason a literary giant on a deadline whose world is thrown into chaos when an uninvited fan and her family and friends arrive on her doorstep.
