Jerry Hall has joined a host of other big names on the West End as a new cast took over on the stage version of Calendar Girls.

The supermodel has started her run as Celia, or Miss September, at the Noel Coward Theatre, just a few minutes by taxi from some of the top hotels in London.

She has been joined by a number of other big-names from the stage and small screen, with former Eastenders Jill Halfpenny, Anita Dobson and June Brown playing Miss July, Miss October and Miss January respectively, while Olivier Award-winning West End star Jill Baker will take on the role of Miss February.

Gemma Atkinson, Jill Baker and Jack Ryder are also members of the new cast, which will perform until October 17th.

The West End production, which has proved a massive hit with London hotel guests since it opened in April, has been adapted by Tim Firth from his own film of the same name.

Based on a true story, the show tells the tale of a Yorkshire Women's Institute group who mortify their friends and family by deciding to strip off for a charity calendar.
