|London voted top UK city
The magazine revealed that the English capital had "roared into the lead" as the most popular UK city among its readers.
High scores were given for a number of aspects of the city that London hotel guests can enjoy, including its food, nightlife, entertainment and accommodation.
Overall, the capital received a rating of 94.25 out of 100, placing it ahead of Edinburgh and Liverpool, which were given scores of 90.88 and 86.15 respectively.
Other destinations to feature in the UK cities section of this year's Conde Nast Traveller Readers' Awards include Manchester, Glasgow and Newcastle, all of which received ratings of 79 points or more.
The magazine also gathered its readers' views on the best airlines currently in operation, with bmi named the best short-haul leisure carrier, British Airways voted the best business airline and easyJet found to be the most popular low-cost operator.
