|London hotel guests offered summer of magic.
The mayor of London, Boris Johnson, has kicked off a series of activities and cultural events in order for locals and visitors to the capital to enjoy the last days of August.
Entitled One Magic Summer, the programme includes magic tricks, concerts, street theatre and other performances, all designed to offer audiences a nostalgic look at British summers of the past.
"With deckchairs and quirky performers, this is the best of our holidays seen through the prism of childhood recollections; a trip to the beach, a weekend expedition in the camper van, a ramble in the countryside and a few mystifying magic tricks," explained Mr Johnson.
One Magic Summer will take place each Thursday to Sunday until the end of the month, as well as on Bank Holiday Monday (August 31st).
