|Kids Week proves a hit
The West End initiative launched at 10:00 yesterday (July 15th) and sold more than 16,000 tickets in just one day.
When the number of sales was combined with a promotion organised in collaboration with the Daily Telegraph and the Evening Standard, it amounted to some 18,000 sales by this morning.
Anybody planning to make a London hotel booking and visit the theatre with their children this summer can still take advantage of the offer, as some 14,000 tickets are still available, the Official London Theatre Guide confirmed.
Kids Week will run from August 15th to 29th and will provide a free child's ticket for every full-paying adult.
The promotion is available for a number of London's top shows, ranging from musicals and comedies to dramatic theatre.
