|Joseph Fiennes play gets London extension
London hotel visitors can now see the production for an extra week up to July 19th, according to the Official London Theatre Guide.
The extra performances were made available owing to popular demand and extra tickets have been made available for all forthcoming shows.
Written by Anthony Weigh, 2,000 Feet Away stars Fiennes as the deputy sheriff of a small town in the US state of Iowa, who is given the job of enforcing a new law preventing sex offenders from living within 2,000 feet of any area where children may gather.
His responsibility takes on a personal significance when he is forced to evict his neighbours' son, played by Ian Hart.
The play will be followed at the Bush by 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover, a series of short plays based on stories of relationship break-ups submitted by the theatre's audiences.
London hotel visitors will find the Bush theatre at Shepherd's Bush Green.
