|Jersey Boys wins Visit London award
London hotel visitors can see the production, which tells the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, at the Prince Edward Theatre, where it is currently taking bookings until October 2009.
The Visit London Awards were handed out at a prestigious ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall last week, which was hosted by Johnny Vaughan and Lisa Snowdon and featured an address by mayor Boris Johnson.
Winners on the night included Selfridges, which was named best retailer, and Oxford Street, which picked up the award for the best shopping destination.
The Natural History Museum was voted the best family attraction, while Michael Caine won the 'Londoners' favourite Londoner' accolade, an award the actor said he was "honoured" by.
Visit London chief executive Sally Chatterjee said: "The Visit London Awards celebrate the people and places that help make London the number one city destination in the world for international travel.
"We extend our warmest congratulations to all our winners, including Sir Michael Caine."
