The Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) will play host to a variety of unusual performances in January as it gets involved with the London International Mime Festival.

The festival will bring a number of events to the central London venue from January 11th to 25th.

Highlights will include a talk on January 24th by Dick McCaw, the co-founder of the Actors Touring Company, who will speak about the importance of movement to the art of acting.

From January 17th to 21st, the ICA will present Faust.2360 words, a show that will represent the UK premiere of the Akhe Engineering Theatre company.

This innovative performance will tell the story of Faust through a selection of carefully chosen words, bizarre events, chemical experiments and visual inventiveness.

The ICA will be one of a number of venues where London hotel visitors can see events as part of the International Mime Festival, along with the Barbican, the Southbank Centre, the Royal Opera House and others.
