People planning London hotel visits to see Priscilla Queen of the Desert – The Musical next year have been informed of the full range of performers they can look forward to seeing in the show.

The most recent confirmations on the cast list are former Pop Idol finalist Zoe Birkett and Hairspray's Kate Gillespie, according to the Official London Theatre Guide.

Since first rising to public notice in Pop Idol, Birkett has appeared in touring productions of the shows What A Feeling! and Thriller Live.

London hotel visitors will be able to see Gillespie – who played Pearl in the original cast of the Hairspray musical – in Wig Out! at the Royal Court from November 20th before she joins up with her Priscilla co-stars.

These two actresses join the already-announced main cast of the show, which includes Jason Donovan as Tick, Tony Sheldon as Bernadette and Oliver Thornton as Adam.

Priscilla Queen of the Desert – The Musical will open at the Palace Theatre on March 23rd, with previews from March 10th.
