Gatwick hotel guests will have a wider range of flights available to them later this year when Flybe adds extra services to the island of Jersey.

The regional carrier announced that, from October 25th, it would increase the number of flights on its London Gatwick to Jersey route to seven each weekday.

Business travellers are expected to benefit from the new schedule, which will provide an early morning arrival in Jersey 75 minutes earlier than is currently available and a later evening return to Gatwick.

Mike Rutter, chief commercial officer of Flybe, said: "The addition of this seventh weekday flight shows our continued commitment to serving Jersey and to listening and actioning what our passengers actually want.

"We remain committed to serving the island community by providing the most frequent, affordable and convenient service on this route."

Gatwick hotel visitors can also fly to the European destinations of Bergerac and Dusseldorf with Flybe, as well as several locations across the UK.
