|Celebrate Shanghai Week in London
The initiative will give London hotel visitors the chance to learn about the economic, scientific and cultural developments that have occurred in Shanghai recently.
Arranged to mark the World Exposition 2010 event that will be held in Shanghai, the week of events will include photography exhibitions, Chinese pop music shows and more.
The Victoria & Albert Museum will be involved in Shanghai Week, presenting an exhibition exploring the history of World Expositions that have been held all over the globe.
Visitors to the museum will also be able to experience a celebration of Chinese New Year with an urban twist and attend a seminar on urban renewal in Shanghai.
The Images of Shanghai exhibition will be open at City Hall until January 30th, while the British Museum will launch a display entitled Treasures from Shanghai, which will feature Chinese bronzes and jades.
