|Celebrate Liberty at Trafalgar Square
The capital's Liberty - Disability Rights Festival 2008 will be held at Trafalgar Square on August 30th 2008.
It will focus on celebrating the rights of deaf and disabled people and host a number of events and performances separated into seven separate zones.
Each area will host its own programme of events associated with street art, comedy, carnival, film, music, food, children's activities and other themes.
Trafalgar Square is one of London's most famous and visually iconic locations, boasting the impressive Nelson's Column and the four lion statues that guard the towering monument.
The fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square, which was empty from 1841 until recently, now serves as the location for specially commissioned art works.
