|Catch up with contemporary art at Tate Britain
This show, which is the fourth Tate Triennial display at Tate Britain, presents some of the best work that modern British art has to offer, as well as some international contributions.
Running from February 3rd until April 26th next year, the exhibition will include creations in media ranging from painting to film and video to installations.
Many of the works that London hotel visitors will see in Altermodern have never been displayed before.
This year's Triennial at Tate Britain is being curated by Nicolas Bourriaud, who co-founded Paris' Palais de Tokyo gallery in 2002 and coined the term Altermodern to describe how contemporary artists are responding to today's society.
Tate Britain will be presenting a number of other exhibitions for visitors to see in 2009, showcasing work by artists including Rubens, Turner and Francis Bacon.
