|Canada to come to London
Canada Day will see a number of free events and activities come to the famous London location, including an appearance by top Canadian chef Daniel Verati, who will give some culinary demonstrations.
Verati will give 30-minute shows and tastings between 12:00 and 17:00 in the Taste of Ontario pavilion.
One of the dishes on offer will be Lake Ontario trout with fingerling potatoes and ginger confit in Niagara ice wine.
Other events taking place throughout the day will give visitors the opportunity to experience Canada's music, culture, technology, tourism, sport and other fields.
The free festival will get underway with some rounds of the fast and furious Canadian sport of street hockey.
Jason Pollock, Canada Day director said: "Canada has such a lot to offer. This great free celebration lets Londoners experience a microcosm of the country. Visitors to the festival will certainly not be disappointed."
