|Calendar Girls to spend longer in London
The Official London Theatre Guide confirmed that the line-up of performers will now be appearing in the play until October 31st.
A number of well-known stars feature in the cast, including June Brown, Jill Halfpenny and Jack Ryder of EastEnders fame, former Hollyoaks star Gemma Atkinson and model Jerry Hall.
Calendar Girls was adapted by Tim Firth from his own screenplay for the original 2003 film.
It tells the true story of a group of Women's Institute members who pose naked for their annual calendar to raise money for charity.
For every booking it has received, the show has donated some money to Leukaemia Research, raising over £150,000 so far.
Calendar Girls, which will have a new cast from November, is currently taking bookings until January 23rd 2010.
