|The Nike Human Race through Singapore
This event takes place and August 31st, beginning at 16:30 with an estimated end time of 21:30.
It is part of the world's largest one day running event.
One million runners will be taking part across the world in 25 cities, with Singapore the one from South East Asia, meaning entrants and spectators will be drawn to the city from all over the region.
The race will begin at the Esplanade and finish at the Padang, and organisers have estimated that 10,000 runners will join in the fun in Singapore, racing past some of the city's best scenery and most spectacular landmarks.
Music will also play a heavy part, with the tunes being amplified right from the start of the race, through the route to an end, with a finale concert staged at night which will feature local and international acts.
