|The Crucible in Singapore
Between August 12th and 15th Arthur Miller's The Crucible will pla{Y AT}t the DBS Arts Centre, which is home to the Singapore Repertory Theatre, with matinee and evening shows taking place.
Visit Singapore says: "The Crucible is a powerful and timeless depiction of how intolerance and hysteria can tear a community apart.
"A timeless tale of truth on trial, The Crucible is a relentlessly suspenseful drama of collective evil and personal conscience."
Meanwhile, music fans will be able to catch British rock band Keane's first ever performance in Singapore on August 13th at Fort Canning Park.
The group will play hits from their recent album Prefect Symmetry as well as their 2004 and 2006 discs, Hopes and Fears and Under the Sea.
Band member Tom Chaplin described the group's latest album as "sonically . a big departure".
