Holidaymakers checked into a Singapore hotel will be able to enjoy some theatrical entertainment this summer.

From July 30th until September 12th the Boy Who Cried Wolf will be playing at the DBS Arts Centre, which is home to the Singapore Repertory Theatre, at 11:00 and 14:00 local time each day.

Visit Singapore says: "The Boy Who Cried Wolf is a wonderful new production from The Little Company.

"This play is a heart-warming illustration of why it's important to tell the truth, and how one lie can make a world of difference."

Billed as a family show, the play tells the story of Petey who decides watching sheep is boring and hatches a plan to cause some trouble, which goes awry.

Meanwhile, British rock act Keane will make their live debut in Singapore on August 13th at Fort Canning Park.

Band member Tom Chaplin said the group's latest album Perfect Symmetry was "a big departure" sonically.
