|Singapore World Book Fair attracts readers
Between May 29th and June 7th Singapore's SuntecCity Exhibition and Convention Centre will host the annual celebration of all things literary.
Each day from 11:00 and 22:00 local time, festival-goers will buy books, listen to readings by authors, attend book signings and take part in inter-school competitions.
After 24 years, it is billed as the world's longest running book fair and will feature 200 exhibitors, showcasing 300,000 book titles from more than ten Asian countries.
Exhibitors set to attend the event this year will include Chinese Book Publishers, Children Education and Teachers' Resources.
Genres on offer at the nine-day event include self-help, business titles, language guides, educational texts, workbooks and fiction.
Family-friendly events such as a group draw-together session and creating faces for comic books workshop will also take place, making it a great day out for those staying in a Singapore hotel.
