Fans of martial arts may want to check into a Singapore hotel later this year for a show with a twist.

Between September 11th and 13th Jump - A Korean Comic Martial Arts Performance will take place at Esplanade each day from 15:00 and 20:00 local time.

Visit Singapore says: "JUMP is a non-verbal, hyperactive sitcom promising audiences the kind of action they would see in a cross between Jackie Chan and the Matrix.

"An entirely new and creative genre, JUMP expertly blends Asian martial arts."

Event organisers promise a blend of Taekwondo with slapstick humour for the show, which tells the tale of a Korean family with a granddad who has a passion for martial arts.

Meanwhile, music fans will be able to see British band Keane play in Singapore this summer, entertaining audiences with hits such as This is the Last Time and Spiraling.
