|Keane to play Singapore
On August 13th the band will play Fort Canning Park entertaining fans will hits such as Spiraling and Somewhere Only We Know, from their five-year career.
The group burst onto the music scene in 2004 with their Hopes and Fears album, which was followed by Under the Sea in 2006 and a string of sold-out tours.
This concert will be Keane's first concert in the Asian nation, enabling those checked into a Singapore hotel to witness a small piece of music history.
Since finding fame, the band has sold eight million records and won a collection of awards, including Ivor Novellos and BRITs.
Band member Tom Chaplin says of the group's latest album: "Sonically it's a big departure.
"I'd much rather it was just about the music [than the fame] - the reason we got into the band in the first place."
